Despite having left his scandals behind, controversy continues to haunt Charlie Sheen‘s daily life. In an unusual episode, the actor known for his controversial life outside the film sets became the victim of a violent attack inside his own residence in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ reports, the Police came to his aid to separate him from his neighbor, Electra Schrock, who forced entry unexpectedly with the sole objective of attacking him.
After responding to a 911 emergency call last Wednesday, the Los Angeles Police Department encountered a strange scene of violence between neighbors. The altercation took place when the protagonist of “Two and a Half Men” opened the door of his house when he heard noises outside and was surprised by a neighbor.
The 47-year-old woman proceeded to attack the actor, trying to strangle him and even tearing his shirt. Then, according to what they indicated, she returned to her home.
Although the incident could have had a fateful end, the paramedics who attended the scene determined that it was not necessary to transfer the 58-year-old actor to a medical center, since he was not seriously injured.Sheen’s neighbor, 47, proceeded to attack the actor, trying to strangle him and even tearing his shirt (Photo by Amanda Edwards/Getty Images)
Schrock was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, the Los Angeles County Police Department said in a statement. She was also arrested for use of force likely to cause bodily injury and theft of property.
But what connection does the woman have with the actor, apart from being neighbors? The truth is that the incident leaves questions unresolved, since the comedian assured that he does not understand the reasons that motivated his neighbor to perpetuate the attack this week.
According to witnesses close to TMZ, this incident is not the first that Sheen has had with his attacker, whom he accused of having recently thrown a sticky liquid on his car. A source close to the actor reported that after that event, Sheen tried to resolve the tensions by talking to her neighbor, with whom he agreed to overcome their differences and “let bygones be bygones.”
However, that seems not to have been the message the woman understood. The situation, which has yet to be clarified, seems to have escalated the day before this Wednesday’s attack, when the same neighbor would have thrown garbage in front of the actor’s home, in a provocative and contemptuous gesture. The comedian assured that he does not understand the reasons that motivated his neighbor to strangle and attack him this week. Finally, the woman was arrested
The incident shows an escalation of neighborhood conflicts that not even celebrities are spared, leading them to extreme situations like these in their lives.
12 years ago, Charlie Sheen left “Two and a Half Men” unexpectedly and after a highly publicized fight between him and Chuck Lorre, producer of the hit show. Apparently, time has smoothed out the rough edges between both characters and they recently reunited in a new series produced by HBO Max.
This is “How To Be a Bookie”, the new comedy that will bring together Sheen and Lorre in the sitcom, and will be headed by Sebastian Maniscalco, which will be produced by Warner Bros. Television. Its premiere on November 30 marked Charlie’s return to the small screen.
The New York artist earned four Emmy nominations for his starring role in Two and a Half Men. After his departure, he starred in Anger Management, which ran for 100 episodes and aired on FX. He also guest-starred on The Goldbergs.
